MEMORIAL DAY
FLAGS DECORATE THE FINAL RESTING PLACES OF OUR FALLEN HEROES
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
THE RED WHITE AND BLUE FLIES AT HALF-STAFF ALL MORN
A MOMENT OF SILENCE AT 3PM
WHISPERED PRAYERS FOR AMERICA'S TRUE SAINTS
AND A CONCERT AT THE CAPITOL
THE VERY LEAST WE CAN DO
FOR THE ONES WHO GAVE THEIR ALL
FOR OUR FREEDOM.
The poet captures images in his mind and paints them on paper with words for you to see.
