Bloodlines

DNA strands tell the tale
Who we are
Where we come from
Who we come from
Forefathers and mothers
Where they lived
Who they were
The stories locked away
Waiting to be discovered
The tales and legends
We never knew existed
In our genes
Calling out to us
Come see
Come see
Time travel
Via family history

WHEN DOVES CRIED

DOVES CRIED TODAY IN MINNESOTA
PURPLE RAIN FELL FROM THE SKY
A RED CORVETTE DROVE DOWN A HIGHWAY
AS THE WORLD BID A PRINCE GOOD BYE
HIS FANS ALL BLEW HIM A KISS
AND THE MUSIC WORLD PAUSED TO SIGH
AS A GIRL WITH A RASPBERRY BERET
SHED A TEAR AND WALKED ON BY.
THE PRINCE WHO LED THE REVOLUTION
AND PARTIED LIKE ITS 99
WAS ON THE FEEDS OF ALL THE NATION
AND IN FANS HEARTS AND ON THEIR MINDS.

PSIMON

PSimon
05-24-05 03:31 PM

PSimon my pet Psyduck.

He always has a headache,
Everywhere we go.
Even at the movies,
He whines all thru the show.
When we go to the store,
He begs for Tylenol.
He can take the whole bottle
And still he wants to bawl.
