ARMED SERVICES DAY IN THE EMERALD CITY

Emeralds all about
The city trimmed in green
The gates topped with emeralds
The Maypole clearly seen
The weather is fair and mild
On this warm and sunny day
And all the Taurus children
Run about and play
The Lilies of the Valley
Are all about in bloom
And the children dance and sing
Because Summer will be soon
Flags are flying high and proud
In remembrance of the day
When we honour our protectors
On that special day in May

Thank you to all who have served and are serving to protect this great nation of ours. It's because of you, that refugees flee to America with hope for a brighter day.
